DevEx Calculator
Current rate (new): 10,000 R$ → $38.00 USD — updated: April 3, 2026
Conversion
Estimate the value of Developer Exchange–eligible Robux (“earned” revenue), not Robux purchased from the store. Amounts in euros or pounds use indicative exchange rates (not provided by Roblox).
DevEx rate tiers
Roblox applies two USD rates depending on when eligible Robux were earned. “Old rate” balances must be fully cashed out before you can withdraw at the new rate. Details and conditions are on the Developer Exchange help page and in the program terms.
| Tier | USD per Robux | Example 30,000 R$ | Example 100,000 R$ |
|---|---|---|---|
| New (R$ earned on or after Sept. 5, 2025, 10 a.m. PT) | $0.0038 | $114.00 | $380.00 |
| Old (R$ earned before that date) | $0.0035 | $105.00 | $350.00 |
The minimum payout threshold depends on the current Developer Exchange Terms of Use (often illustrated as 30,000 R$ in Roblox documentation — always check the value shown in your developer account).
FAQ
What is the Developer Exchange (DevEx)?
DevEx lets eligible creators exchange earned Robux from their games and experiences for dollars, subject to eligibility, verification, and Roblox rules.
Why doesn’t my calculation match my actual payout?
This calculator is educational. Roblox may round, apply withholdings, verify Robux origin, or delay a payment. EUR/GBP conversions depend on your bank or the market at the time of transfer.
I have Robux from before and after September 5, 2025 — how does that work?
Robux at the old rate must be fully cashed out via DevEx before you can withdraw Robux at the new rate, according to Roblox’s published rules.
Do purchased Robux count toward DevEx?
No. Only Robux from eligible revenue (for example, your share of experience revenue) follow DevEx rules. Purchases or transfers may be excluded.
Do I need to report this income for taxes?
Depending on your country and situation, DevEx payments may be taxable. We do not provide tax advice; consult a professional or the relevant tax authority.
